September week 1

Hi guys,

We are only two weeks away from our first game in SUniG and although the results of our friendly matches are not the most favourable, I feel that we have displayed awesome attacking football and that we will surely reach our peak by the time we get to our first game.

Results from our previous two matches;

2) Friday 2 September 2011 Friendly vs Singapore Polytechnic @ SP Field 730pm Kick-off

3) Sunday 4 September 2011 Friendly vs Geylang United @ Bedok Stadium 5pm Kick-off

Last week of August

Hi guys,

It's been a great week in terms of games played and having the squad together for the trainings and matches this week. Although we conceded quite a few silly goals, we can take light from the goals scored and countless opportunities created. We can only go up from here, improve defensively, keep playing good attacking football and gel together as a unit.

Here are the results from this weeks two friendly matches.

1) SIM vs Combined Schools U17 @ ITE Simei
Final Score : 5 - 2

2) SIM vs Singapore Cricket Club
Final Score : 2 - 3

The upcoming plan for this week is that we will train on Wednesday 7pm Ulu Pandan, then have two back to back friendly games.

1) Wednesday 24 August 2011 Training @ Ulu Pandan, 7pm

2) Sunday 28 August 2011 Friendly vs NFA U-18 @ Yishun Stadium 730pm Kick-Off

3) Monday 29 August 2011 Friendly vs Combined School @ Gombak Stadium 730pm Kick-Off

For those of you unable to make training, please do your own running so as to prepare yourself physically.

August week 3

Hi guys,

We are having a busy schedule this coming week.

1) Monday & Wednesday
- Trainings 7pm

2)Thursday
Friendly vs NFA U-18 7:30pm @ ITE Simei
- Be there by 6:45pm

3)Sunday
Friendly vs Singapore Cricket Club 3:00pm @ Dempsey Field
- Be there by 2:15pm

Players who have difficulty coming on time for friendly games, please inform me before hand.
For both friendlies, wear YELLOW top, BLACK shorts and socks.

I would like to emphasise to all players to show the utmost commitment towards training and matches if you really have a desire to play for SIM Soccer. This is no kuching-kurap team that you join to play as and when you want. Competition is high and no places are guaranteed. We need to train and play together as often as possible so that we can gel in time before SUniG. Other schools have much more preparation than team SIM but I KNOW, that this year we have the squad to match, if not better, any other tertiary team.

August week 2

Hi guys,

Training will now be changed to Mondays and Wednesdays 7pm so that we can use the pitch.

There will be a few trialists coming down to train with us this week. Competition for places is extremely high, and SUniG is 4 and a 1/2 weeks away, train hard and let's win SUniG this year.
