Just to dust a lil' shine away from our glorious campaign...there's still plenty to work on particularly in the areas of midfield and attack after SUNIG. The result for each match could have gone either way, thankfully, it favored us this campaign.

Nevertheless, Congratulations on winning the SUNIG title 2008!

Coming back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 on a night under pressure sums up the qualities and potential of our team going forward. Now, remember you guys mocked and asked about the 3 stars?

When doing the logo then, I scribbled on a post-it, "Team spirit, Perseverance and Self-belief". Guess this team never needed to be told of such qualities... = )

Warm-Up: 6.00pm
Kickoff: 7.30pm
Kit: Red top, black shorts + socks + shin guards

Team SIM, there will be transport arranged from SIM Campus. Bus leaves at 530pm.

Supporters for Team SIM are welcome to take the transport provided to NTU. Drop us a msg in our tag box if you are coming along so that I can consolidate the numbers as max. capacity for e bus is limited to 45 pax.

Credit to NUS & NTU on playing really good football against us during SUNIG. I'm sure that irregardless of results elsewhere, it would be a spectacular game to watch as they play against each other for what I'd define as the 'battle for pride', esp for the NTU team.

Now, we've worked very hard to grind the results needed. Unquantifiable as it may be, the hard hard work and time put into each game and in training ain't no less than what our fellow NTU, SMU, NUS teams have put in themselves. Hence, it would be fair to say that credit has to go to this SIM team as well.

So guys here's the last lap!

Let's bring the challenge trophy back to SIM!

SIM Student Week

Heads up! The coming week will be our SIM Open House and Student Week. The club will need helpers to run some of the activities which we will be involved in.

Important dates to take note are 15th, 16th & 18th September.

Booth @ Atrium- 15th & 16th
We will have a booth @ Atrium on both 15th & 16th Sept. The aim of this is to reach out to the girls to join our club. I understand that joan, zhiqi, yatie and su with our helpers, eugenia and cloe will be involved. I sincerely thank ALL of you ladies for the response and being supportive on lending a helping hand.

Do note that there will be an Al Fresco dinner @ on the 16th. Helpers involved will be invited

Futsal Tournament - 18th
Time: 8.00am to 6.00pm

Due to the clash of dates between SUNIG and this event, it would be ideal that guys who are not involved in SUNIG to help in running this activity. For this event, Rex will lead the team.

We need a total of 6 helpers for the following:

• 2 x Logistics i.e. scorecards, balls, bibs, white board update
• 1 x ScoreKeeper
• 1 x TimeKeeper (can rotate shift with ScoreKeeper and vice versa)
• 2 x ad-hoc posts

Logistic/ad-hoc personnel to update the teams' progression to the next round on the white board.

This posts is open to ALL members in the club. Kindly let leave a tag to let me know who would be helping out by Monday. Will need to set aside a event shirt for you. Need to brief those who are helping on Tuesday on the event schedule.

Do note that Wednesday is the set up and Thursday is the main event.

In addition, given that I've to be there on Thursday by 8am, I might as well camp overnight at Ulu Pandan somehow. Intend to head to Zouk, party abit and head back to Ulu Pandan. Let me know if you interested in joining me.
